Running Tide Road, Cape Elizabeth

History:  This oceanfront garden has been created within the last six years. After the initial design by Copper Beech Designs, both the stonework and the plantings were installed by Tammaro Landscaping. Bulbs and a new shade garden have recently been added; small trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals border a lawn and spaces for relaxation.

Themes: Color, plant variety, and movement from shapes and forms bring interest and joy to the garden, with playful surprises around every corner. Spring blooms in sun and shade give way to summer poppies and butterfly favorites.
