Hillside gardens overlooking the ocean, small semi-urban oases, permaculture, creative stone work, wildlife habitat, thoughtful design, and more – this garden tour has something for everyone! Tour private and public coastal Maine gardens in Cape Elizabeth and South Portland, starting at the Children’s Garden and Cliff Walk Landscape in Fort Williams Park.
Proceeds benefit the Fort Williams Park Foundation, a non-profit organization whose Arboretum project controls damaging invasive plants and establishes sustainable plant communities at the Park. Finished sites support wildlife and provide natural spaces for visitors’ enjoyment.
